Uhmm..yeahh I got confused on this April Newsletter becuase on the sheet it said newsltters are due by the 10th of every month and since District Convention was past the 10th I got confused. Haha But, better tlate than never right?!

Hello everyone! If you are reading this than you have in fact received my Owl! Well let me start out by introducing myself…
My name is Nathaniel Lancaster (Nate for short) and I am Division 7’s new LTG. I am a junior at Sullivan Central and love being there. Here I study things in hope that I will one day go to college and then live out my life as a poor yet happy physicist. My hobbies are running, hiking, camping, disk golf, reading, and mountain unicycling. If you didn’t get the title of my newsletter I am a big Harry Potter fan as well as a fan of pretty much anything nerdy. As for Key Club shenanigans, this is what I plan to do for our division as well as you the member:
• First, get the dues paid in. (A list of unpaid clubs will be on page 2)
• Create a Division 7 Facebook for all of you tech savvy members.
• Hold monthly meeting somewhere in our division (also info on page 2)
• And of course get to know all of you.

Hope you all are winding down the school year in a relaxing way. Here’s my May newsletter! I hope you enjoy it!!

The time has come! After all the months, days, and even prayers, schools across our division are coming to a close, and summer is just around the corner! As most of us know, Key Club tends to weaken during the summer days, and, as sad as it sounds, we often don’t think much of it. These days are full of opportunity for being the most productive. So, after you get you get done soaking up some sun, get out and make a difference out in your community!

Use some of these activities to get you and your Key Club active in your community this summer:
Scout out locations that are in desperate need of floral intervention and transform the landscape of community eyesores.
Facilities that provide care for the aging always welcome visitors.  Ask an activities director at a local care facility for ways that you and your club could interact with the residents of that facility.  Music, craft time, performances — whatever you choose, it’ll be a blessing to all involved.

Have your club host a free carwash for your community at an area where cars are most likely to see it. Also, have a donation center so that the supplies cost isn’t a burden for your club.

Also, don’t forget this summer to have a great with not only your friends and family but your Key Club family, as well. Be safe, wear your seat belt, and don’t forget the sunscreen!
